Nutrition Consultation

Meet Whitney Lozano,
Holistic Nutritionist

From a young age Whitney had a keen interest in people, deeper than the surface, a genuine curiosity on what they’re going through, how they feel, coupled with an insatiable appetite for all things well-being oriented. She became fascinated with juicing, and started educating herself on nutrition, reading every book she could get her hands on. When she was 26, her mom was diagnosed with cancer. She took the tools and knowledge that she educated herself into action, to try and help her heal with the time she had left. Whitney’s heart broke when she passed. This event tipped the scales for her and her passion to help others was ignited.

In her late 20s, she co-created a successful juice business built from her knowledge in health, culinary skills and expertise on the subject of juicing, feeling well and overall optimum function of the human body. Soon she developed many personal relationships with clients and it became clear that her calling was working one-on-one with people and guiding them on their health journey. She has worked with people suffering from brain tumors, weight loss, anxiety, chemotherapy recovery and depression. The intimacy of this dynamic of working together with people created a level of fulfillment which propelled her further into making this exchange a career. Over the following years, her friends and family often called on her as well to help them overcome their health challenges, which served as invaluable practice. This led her to getting certified as a Holistic Nutritionist from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. After deepening her education and becoming certified she experienced her own set of health issues; postpartum anxiety/depression and Psoriasis. She applied many allopathic and holistic principles to try and remedy, she was called to dive deep into herself and use the tools that she’d taught others. It wasn’t easy at times, but it worked. This was another moment in her life where she was tested, and by her practice of self-investigation, listening to her body, and her education, she came out the other side healthier.

As a mother of two she has an emphasis on supporting new mothers with nutritional guidance to help nourish, replenish and not just survive but thrive through fatigue and depletion all while learning to navigate family meal planning, losing weight after baby and culminating a routine after baby. Her goal in taking care of herself is to have a positive impact on others. She believes the purpose of being well is to be of service, to better serve your self, family, friends, and community. Creating a healthy lifestyle has enabled her to do just that, and she hopes to help you too. Ultimately, she has learned that your body is your best teacher and has the answers. She is here to support you in attuning to your body's cues and messages and innate healing abilities using a variety of modalities tailored to YOU.
